VLSI design automation

In this course, students learn about computing methodologies and algorithms for VLSI design automation. The course covers fundamental techniques in VLSI physical design automation flow; from system partitioning and chip floorplanning; placement and routing which include global and detailed techniques, to timing closure. Students will also explore, study, and implement some of the advanced techniques used in EDA tools.
